| Tulsidas Khimji Pvt. Ltd's (TKPL) heavy-lift operations achieved a major milestone recently when it successfully shipped 4 power transformers, of Pauwels Trafo Asia, weighing 85 tonnes each, from Jakarta to Malaysia. |
|
| The cargo was shipped on ex-works basis and the entire process of transportation and Customs clearance at origin was successfully executed by TKPL through its partner, Windu Project Cargo. |
|
| Pauwels is one of the leading manufacturers of innovative, three-phase distribution and power transformers and a fast-growing player in the market of substations, integrated solutions and services. It is the only manufacturer of three-phase transformers in the Belgian market. |

| Mr Anant Nadig, CEO of TKPL, who is overseeing the project division, said, "These are very sensitive items and knowledge of freight forwarding and Customs clearance alone is not enough. You need to have a good understanding of the equipment you are moving, you also need to understand the special requirements like maintaining the gas pressure, shock monitoring, commercial requirements, and pre- and post-documentary requirements. We study the requirement of the customer and we plan everything to the minutest detail to ensure that our customer gets his payment as planned without any documentary hassles." |
